Parker hale .22 smith and wesson conversion

I buddy wants me to sell his 12(6) Smith and Wesson....it was converted to .22 during the war for low cost target practice (I assume).....
Not sure what to ask for such an item????

Foreign exchanges controls here in the post-war period made dollar imports scarce and expensive. If you wanted a .22 S&W, converting war-surplus ones was a realistic alternative for Parker-Hale. Some had ramp front sights or adjustable rear sights.

When you could buy them in the UK before the big gun grab they used to go at auction for around 35 to 50 quid (pounds)...I'd say here it would run 175.00 to 225.00
Some are not particularly well done and lots of braze on the cylinder.
