Parker Hale 30-06

Hi,

what is the model of this Parker Hale and any idea of its value ?
This one belong to a friend and he would like to put it on sale but doesnt have any clue how much he can get for and I do not know either.
Scope is a Redfield 3X9 Tracker

Oh and by the way, how we can find the year of manufacture ?

450.00 to 550.00 depending on condition. I believe it's a Model 1200 and prob around 35 years old would be my guess but I could be wrong

$450-$475 less scope, IMHO.

Model is a 1200C Super Clip. Probably from the 1980's. I had one in .270 but sold it.

How do you compared this one to a Remington 700 ?

It's a commercial Mauser 98 action, made by Santa Barbera in Spain, then assembled in England. Good rifles, just not as many accessories available as a Rem 700. I own a few of them in various calibers. - dan

It would be a hard sell here for any thing more than 400 w/ scope. Good gun just not to many looking for one. The younger gun buyers are wanting a name they know. Just my .02 AJ.

$400 to $475. I just bought a Safari - supposed to be one step up and even then was for $425 - and that was with 2 extra mags. No scope on it. I also have a 1200. Had to do some work on the stock as the shots tended to wander as barrel warmed up. Wood stock had warped slightly. Shoots pretty good now.
