parker hale action

From all the info I can gather the Parker Hale 1200s are a Mauser 98 action.. Is this correct???

Can someone give me more info?? Is it a large ring?? the same as an FN Mauser??

I'm looking to have a stock inletted for my rifle and I'm looking for some confirmation for what I have gathered...

I just aquired a 1200 super clip and have done some research and have been told that it is a large ring mauser 98...... Hope this helps

Just to let you know, I put a Parker Hale 1200 clip into a Butler Creek M98 stock. I had to open it up in the mag area to get the Clip to fit. I also had to inlet the tang deeper to take the Parker hale trigger as well as cut a notch for the side safety.

My PH also had a metal shim behind the recoil lug for use in the original stock and I put it in the new one as well to keep the end of the tang from touching the back of it's inletting at the wrist.

Yes but Parker Hale changed it enough that a mauser stock won't fit.. Oh well live and learn....
