Parker Hale Front Sight Question

I’ve got a deluxe No4 Sporter and when I installed the PH5 aperture and front tunnel, I lost the original hood for the ramped front sight.

Now I want to put it all back to original condition.

It turns out these hoods are kind of hard to find. Wondering if anyone knows if a Mauser or Husqvarna or other European sight hood will work.

I really didn’t like the look of the original anyway, it kind of leaned forward and looked pretty silly.

The originals look a lot better, at least to me, if you reversed it so that it slanted backwards.

As to whether another would fit, you'd have to check thew width of the grooves on the sight base, as they vary, a lot.

Originals are around, but they're not cheap anymore.
