parker hale lee enfield value?

i know im in the wrong section for this. But deffinately more enfield lovers here

i found a parker hale lee enfield no4 in what i would call good too Vg in a gun shop for 250$. only real reason im putting it down a bit is because it has a fair mount of gun safe kisses. blueing and bore is very good.
is it really worth that amount?

Then, yes, they typically sell for $240-$260 in G-VG condition on the EE.

ok only difference was the rear site was in the middle of the rifle and it did not look to be a common lee enfield iron sight so it may have been changed

Pics would help, but with the rear sight on the barrel, I'd speculate that you have a sporterized No.III. I don't know about your area, but hereabouts, they would sell for $150.00 to $200.00, depending on condition, Parker Hale notwithstanding.

The rifle could be a Parker Hale o 4 Custom. The roll stamped the barrel and put a dove tail rear sight on the barrel. Does the rifle still have the charger guides?

The price is about right. They are not wildly valuable although they have their following.

yes the charger guide was present and it had the similar marking to the ones in the parker hale thread bit lower
