I recently bought a PH 1200 with detachable mag.It looks to be in great shape, can't wait to get it out on the range. It has PH rings and bases included. My question is about the Ph bases, are the holes spaced the same as weaver bases? I have a nice 30mm scope I want to put on this rifle so i want to change to weaver bases and rings. Please no nay sayers about taking off the factory bases I want to hunt with this rifle not keep it for show. Thank you.

The hole spacing is the same as Weaver #45 and #46, but the bases are narrower, so they won't readily fit other commercial rings.

The PH bases are 0.775" wide (#BA-22 and BA-28) while Weaver bases are 0.830" wide. This means that even if your rings hold solid one the bases, you will have you scope 0.028" offset on one side.
Maybe you can something like the Millet Angle-Loc, but it may need some fitting to hold on tight.

Yes, it will.
BTW, I have a couple of Weaver Grand Slam ring sets on heavy recoil rifles and they work.
