I have a chance to buy this scope which is very long and has external adjustments like the Unertl. Can anyone answer a question I have? The horizontal crosshair is about 1/8 inch lower than the center of the scope. Is there an adjusment for raising it back to where it belongs. Very...very fine crosshairs. I didn't have my glasses with me but it almost appeared that there was a dot in the center of the vertical crosshair....BUT...all I can find on these shows they only came in the crosshair configuration.....I would expect that having one of these repaired would be an expensive experience so I would not be interested if it needs fixing. Could be a dot for aiming, the crosshair for level, or a second range. I've seen a couple of these advertised, but have never examined one. It would be an interesting scope, and would look good on a classic rifle. I have a similar Fecker which will go on my Remington 1 1/2 once it has a new bore. If the price were right, I wouldn't turn one down, even if the crosshairs needed replacement.
Just sent an elderly 20X Redfield target scope off for a custom reticle. Total cost will be about $100.
