Parker Hale rings and scope

Dad gave me his old 303 which is in great shape. I think I'm going to use it for deer hunting this year. He had an old Ruko brand scope on it. I have tossed that piece of junk in the garbage.

I'm thinking a Bushnell 3200 or 4200 3-9x40.... Who makes a low ring? The medium rings are very high off the barrel. I think Weaver does other than Im not a huge fan.

Well - If the rifle uses Parker Hale rings and bases, then none of the other types (Weaver, etc) are compatible. All 303s suffer from a relatively high scope mount. Switching from medium to low is only going to drop the scope 1/8 of an inch.
