Parker hale safari .308 disassembly problems

Hi,

i am trying to disassembly a Parker hale safari. I have removed the screws, but cant remove the action from stock and i dont want to put too much strenght. Is there a twist i must be aware of?

Sounds like your forget to remove the hidden screw...

Which is in the trigger guard. Its a small allen screw.
You must remove the floor plate release lever to see it.

I will try to find a pic.

Remove the magazine catch and its spring. The little Allen screw will be exposed. Don't lose the little spacer.
