I don't see a downfall, I've been having trouble physically with higher recoil rounds since I hurt my back. No fault of the rifle, it did it's part extremly well, only my body failed.

Oh well, that's a fine rifle and sound like she can deliver the goods on paper. I doubt it would last long on the EE.

Maybe thats the downfall of the norma compared to the WM,

What downfall would that be?

Both are 30cal. Both are belted cases with approx the same amount of capacity. How could one be markedly better than the other?

You could always keep it and play with lighter bullets and downloads.

OTOH ... once you get a load for it, just keep the bench time to a minimum and use it for a hunting rifle.

I have been thinking of lighter loads so I ordered some 150gr bullets and I have some 4895, they should pair up nicely. I am going to EE now to remove ad.

Was looking at Hogdon reload page and my 4831 with 150 bullets looks good too, so as soon as the bullets arrive will load a bunch of different flavors and off to range again. Will update after next trip to range. (EE ad has been taken down, it's been haunting me ever since I put it up. The same thing happened once before, but, I let that one go a nice VZ24. I hope your enjoying it up in North Central BC)
