I've got a question for my fellow gunnies. Anyone out there know the thread size of the Parker Hale cleaning brushes? I have an old FN C1 cleaning kit, complete except for the multi tool, and I also have nice Parker Hale one piece cleaning rod as well as the sectional ones. I have a buddy who'll machine me a brass adapter to screw onto the male end of the cleaning rod and thread the female end to accept the standard Hoppes or whatever cleaning brushes, swabs, etc., but I can't find the pitch or thread size of the standard Parker Hale product. Anyone out there who can point me in the right direction and maybe where to get the tap for it? Thanks all.

On the .30 cal. rod the thread is .20 or 5.1mm 27 thread pitch. On the .22 rod, a 4x.07 tap fits perfectly. Hope that helps.
P-H made adapters and J. Dewey still does as far as I know..

Brownell's once sold adapters to convert the rods to use American brushes... they may still do. I have about 8 rods with those conversions and four left original.

My P-H .22 rod measures 36 tpi and .148" diameter. This would work out to be a #7-36 thread. A number 7 thread would be .151" diameter in theory. Being .003" under would be expected. It is an oddball thread and finding a 7-36 tap may be difficult.
