Before I go bother the local smith I figured I would ask the gurus here first. I have also tried the new search system with an infuriating lack of success.

On my PH 1200C in 270 Win, the trigger is horrid, LOTS of creep, etc...

Is it adjustable, for creep? Sear engagement? Over travel? and Pull? If so, does this pic apply?

Picture Compliments of Mauser98 in the only other thread I could find during my search, but had only to do with mounting a PH trigger assembly in an M98. I have no idea what PH the trigger group is from.

I would seriously like to improve the trigger on an otherwise excellent rifle.

Yes, it will be the same procedure, or course, if you have an adjustable trigger on your P-H... some early ones don't have it.
Otherwise, you have all the infos you need.
When you check for safety, slam the bolt closed and see if the cocking piece stays set. If not, add more sear engagement.

I haven't taken it out of the stock yet, I will once I drop a deer with it. I figured Baribal would know but I didn't want to ask in the Husky sticky!

I will report back with pictures, although if it IS an adjustable, I can handle that myself.

Thank you both!

Actually, all the original P-H triggers I played with, even if somewhat physically a bit different, used the same setting screws set up. They work quite the same way as Timney and many other triggers, so this instruciton sheet will make it, if not, it will bring you quite close to a good setting, as long as you pay attention to what you're doing.
But Dan's advise is pretty good too, especially if you experience problems.
