i have a parker hale bolt action 270 winchester but there is no model or anything else on it so how would i addentify what model it is if you have a parker please put some pics up thanks

Easier if you post a pic of your gun and we tell you what it is, don't you think? DM, surplus thumb cut out receiver, Santa Barbara action, etc, lots of options. Take some shots of the receiver, roll markings on the barrel, trigger guard and bottom metal, and we can most likely tell you exactly what you have. - dan

take a pic and post, all Parker-Hales were mauser action rifles. Mine happens to be a santa barbara action, I had a friend who had one with a surplus action.

The bump in the grip is also known as a palm swell.c What type of bolt release do you have? The conventional mauser pull by the side bolt release of a button style?

you pull the lever on the side of the action to release the bolt and it has a detachable mag
