go to ww w. parkergun.org. They provide for free, detailed photos showing how to identify the watermarks on the flats, date it, figure out frame size, etc. The members there have an incredible eye, and can tell you a lot from good pictures. for example, I posted pics of a trojan I was looking at, they could tell it had been restocked, and the barrels were not the length shipped from the factory. If you want, they can do a very thorough research letter on the gun for a fee of 45.00, I believe if you are not a member of their organization. as for value, The members there will give you a good idea. Parkers are tricky... some may be worth 5 figures, depending on model and configuration. If it's a trojan ( base model), check out pugsli's guns in duluth, minnesota.
