It is their party and you are correct . Play by their rules or go home.
I could live with that premise if I chose to play.....:)

I don't recall anyone advocating "running with a muzzle up you mouth" or any other body orifice.

I also agree that PC calls the shots on their turf. That doesn't mean that I have to agree with their policies and standards and I have the option of non-compliance through not participating. I exercised that option at Fort Langley and acted in a supernumerary fashion, giving orders to my Corporal of Engineers as if he was part of larger formation. It worked rather well and only one us suffered the pain of the cleaning.

I really wonder about the powder some of you are shooting if you wind up with smouldering embers still burning in your barrel after a shot. I presume that you either wait two minutes between reloads or you wet swab.
