So with the fall coming up fast, bringing with it deer season, bear season etc, I decided as a new hunter to post in the mentor thread. I think its a great idea and a very good way to get into hunting, having someone who is experienced "take you out and show you the ropes".

My question to you all is this; have you used the mentor thread either as a new hunter and found a mentor, or as an experienced hunter who has taken a "newbie" out?

I am curious to see just how many people have been helped out by this section of CGN, just as I hope to be.
