Just wondering what goodies you may have found in your parts stash lately?

Was looking beside my safe and I knew that I had one carbine length Garand barrel, but forgot about the rest. Found two SA barrels, a little rough, but usable and then I hit pay-dirt. Two new barrels in 7.62x51 :dancingbanana:

Sorry, not for sale, but now I have another project or two

So, what's in your closet?

I was given a bunch of magazines back when and found the box looking for slings. Contains 12 2/1001 East
German luger magazines in mint condition and 20 early 1911 45 lanyard magazines.

I've managed to hoard a few vintage 1911 barrels, grips, and magazines. A couple hi-power items too but nothing major.

I always overlooked the parts as I really like when the guns I buy are all original. Maybe I will regret that when I find something awesome that's just missing one small part!

I think there's still a good amount of Inglis's parts floating around out there. I bet the old armourers kept a few little things!

You just reminded me that I've got a couple nice wartime M1 Garand barrels tucked away in the closet. Both retain original finish and have not been chromed on the gas pad. I imagine they'd be useful to someone who was serious about restoring a wartime rifle but I doubt that person will be me, as I've got duplicates in the range that these barrels would be correct for.

I'll likely regret it down the road but they'll probably end up for sale.

Nothing as neat as what you guys have. After some tidying up just now: Swiss cleaning kit, Vz. 58 sling, AK-74 sling, 100 once-fired .303 British Brass, a few No I Mk III stock pieces. I've only been a gun owner since 2011 or so, I guess I haven't had time to accumulate too much kit!
