Anybody know the parts commonality/availability of for the imminent arrival of Russkie SKS? Will most or all parts from the gaziliion Norincos fit?

While were at it, what about the Yugo SKS for parts commonality?

Russian and Chinese should have all parts commonality. The early Factory 26 Chinese rifles were built on Russian machinery using Russian parts. The later Chinese models used a pressed and pinned barrel, so the later Chinese barrels are not compatible with the Russian receivers. The Yugo M59 SKS is fully compatible with the Russian SKS. The later Yugo M59/66AB1 has a different gas block, muzzle and a longer bayonet than the Russian models. Hope this helps you out!

the late russian is identical to early chinese in everyway.

early russian has different carrier, bolt and firing pin that is not recommended for the late russian so therefore not for the early chinese.

as dar701 mention norinco parts should be interchangeable with the russian except for the pinned barrel. one more thing , norinco also came with shorter gas tube so that too will not be interchangeable.
