I can't post a link but there is a guy selling an upgrade kit on Townpost for $50. It's a good deal with extended charging handle, mag release, optic mount for barrel and a longer trigger shoe pin or whatever it's called to shorten the overtravel in the trigger.

what upgrades would you prioritize and why?

Im not going to be going to any competitions.

It will be for pinking and likely on my ATV

The upgrades the guy above is selling are worth every penny. I run the bag off both my PCs and I don't have any issues with reliability.

im not questioning his pricing

im more looking that with a limited budget, which upgrades would i want to start with. (knowing i can't do them all day 1)

I think you misunderstood, the upgrades I would suggest are covered by his kit. I don't need the rail section but everything else has increased the function of my rifle appreciably. I wouldn't bother with replacing any internals unless you have issues. I find these guns are very reliable as is.

For competition use sure, those of us packing them around probably prefer our mags not to pop out of our gun every time that massive release gets bumped.

Bullseye North is where I got most of my PC Carbine parts.

My mods;

- Taccom extended charging handle (awesome)
- Mcarbo extractor
- Mcarbo flat-faced trigger
- Mcarbo extended mag release (awesome)
- Parker Mountain Machine forend (looks wicked but it was expensive)
- Bushnell TRS-25 (Holosun incoming)

LOVE this rifle. Worth every penny. And Bullseye North was awesome to deal with when I placed my order for all the Mcarbo parts.

I just got mine. Awesome package.
Haven't figured out what to do with the Pic rail yet but, for the price, had to get it as well.
Red dots hate my astigmatism, so they're out.
Might cantilever a low power scout scope onto there, who knows...
The other three items are more than worth the price.
