I recently hauled out a RCBS hand priming tool that I thought I had lost in a move. While attempting to put this tool in service, I noticed that the large priming rod must have gone AWOL and I'm looking for a replacement part. Searching the house and the internet, I find that RCBS has no catalogue for replacing these parts. Does anyone here have a part that they may want to scrap? or better yet, If you use this tool, could you measure the rod diameter and length for me so that I'll be able to fabricate a replacement?
Thanks gents,
Guy.

Call rcbs. They may very well send you one for free. Excellent customer service. Don't think it would be too expensive to have them ship it. I don't own one so can't be of further help. Sorry.

Definitely call RCBS and they will fix you up - likely at no or minimal cost. I would not manufacture a new rod due to safety concerns - one end is rounded to engage the internal lever cup, and the other end is flat (the part that engages the primer)...

Yes call RCBS. I bought a used toold that was missing the rods and after I inquired about replacements they mailed me a new set free of charge.

Yes send RCBS an email and say parts missing in a move or something like that. I have done that a few times and they sent the parts free of charge. It will take a while but they do show up. In fact I wanted to buy replacement primer tubes for my old 4x4 press and they sent them. Only when package got here it had been ripped open and tubes were gone. So I let it go. as I had found a set from an other make that would work. About 3 weeks later a package arrived with more tubes. The postal service ours or the USPS had informed RCBS and They resent the package in a better package. Great service. Also here is the link to download their parts books. http://www.rcbs.com/RCBS/media/RCBSMedia/PDFs/Parts/Parts_Book.pdf
