its a variation of the popular cz858 or vz58. the gun is basically a peice of metal now that the firing pin flew out

And maybe it's a Vz 58 the Viet Cong used?

I'm quite curious about how the broken firing pin just "flew out" of Charlie's rifle.

Have you checked inside the bolt to be sure the end of it didnt just break off? This happened with mine and it was less than $5 from Wolverine for a replacement.

will check with wolverine but it was crazy i fired a round and the firing mechanism jammed up and when got it open and looked the firing pin was completely gone. I wonder if anyone else ever had this happen.
