I've seen a post on a US forum talking about an outfit in Winnipeg called Parts Unknown that sells a tang peep sight manufactured in the Ukraine. Anyone here hear of it or used it?

I don't believe they have click stops on the adjustments. Serious long range shooters want to be able to count the clicks for small adjustments for wind or unexpected drop.

cheers mooncoon

I have one of their long range Soule type sights on a 40-65 rolling-block rifle, and I bought the sight about 15 years ago.
As Mooncoon says, it does not have "click" adjustments, but the windage and elevation markings are very clear and repeatable, and both adjustments lock up tight.
The one I have has the central elevation adjustment stem and the elevation markings are on both sides of the staff, which is very handy for me as I'm a lefty, plus the eyecup is a "Hadley" type with 6 aperture sizes.
In my opinion it is just as good a quality as the M.V.A #107 sight I have on another 45-70 rifle, and was considerably less money.
I would have no hesitation in buying another if I ran across another good rifle to put under it.

I had the same one on my Pedersoli. Basically you have a vernier sight with micrometer adjustment(In between)
Cheers nessy.

I have the long range soule sight and the price was $365US,it is a great sight for the money and very fine to adjust with great repeatability.....most of these type of sights do not have "click" adjustments because they are not legal for most BPCR competitions, as are any old style scopes mounts that may have "click" adjustments. The same sights as above are sold by Buffalo Arms in the USA but i think they are little more money.

I have several of Sergios sights on my guns - both front & rear. They work perfectly and have never had a problem. The workmanship is superb and repeatability every time.

He has told me that if anyone has a problem with any part he will send them a new part free of charge but they pay the shipping. You can't ask for better.
