Is there a list of dealers in Canada and or North America for m14/m305 parts ? Since there seems to be more and more people buying these guns and looking to mod or upgrade them. Iam one of these newbies in this particular platform and have been searching to see if there are any local companies or experienced individual s in my area.

Hi. I've never such a list. You can't get real M14 parts out of the States without a U.S. government permit anyway. M305's aren't imported Stateside. Clinton banned the importing of the rifles in 1985ish, so there aren't any M305 specific parts. They use M-14/M1A parts.
M1A's and their copies are ok though. Except stuff like barrels and some other parts. Those require a permit too. Read the stickies.

As a first stop, I suggest you regularly monitor the EE for USGI M-14 parts, pretty much all that you'll ever want/need will come up for grabs... eventually! In the meantime, try Armtac in BC, they routinely stock some excellent [but pricey] parts for this platform. Treeline M-14 in the US is as Canadian-friendly as a gun parts dealer can be, but there are some things that they're just not able to ship North of the border (it's all indicated on his site what they can and cannot sell to you). Rebuilding the M305 with USGI or aftermarket parts is a lot of fun and addictive, but it's not for the faint of heart $-wise!!!
cool thanks for the replies folks. I was mainly cuious if as a " community " we could assemble a list of vendors bot in Canada and that will ship to Canada and what the asscociated parts/costs are. I have been cruising the EE but I was really hopeing that there was a local shop to check out.
