Nice shot, here in NS there aren't too many places where you could see one half a click away. The bastards are howling outside my house 200-300 feet away and you never see them.

That may not be a long shot for you, but for most of us it's probably twice as far as we usually shoot at game. Nice shooting.

i think the furthest distance i hav shot them is 50 yards most of my yote are baged with a 12ga and some #4 buck (or number 4 shot if i see one while rabbit hunting)

Very similar round just "Ackleyized" (shoulder bunped out and 40 degreed). It adds a bit more powder and changes the case shape adding some velocity to the round. I'm also shooting it out of a 29" barrel so they are flying pretty fast, around 3150 fps for 140 gr Berger vlds(I believe, i'll have to check my book for exact velocity)
