In Harold MacFarland's gunsmithing book, he shows a simple jig for straightening the dog-leg in the trigger guard of the Pattern 14/Model 1917 rifles. Does anyone know of any 'smith doing this work?
TIA.

Straight triggerguard

Most any gunsmith shop that's been around a while might have one. Also gunshows etc. Think I might have one myself somewhere if really stuck.

I made one for my P-17,I used six sideways adjusting bolts threaded into tabs on 1/2 flat bar as well as the studs for the spacing. It's not that much shallower a profile for a magnum.
