Pattern 21 rear sight

I really like the look of these pattern 21 sights, but went with a williams fp on my 1895 winchester due to availability.
Maybe in the future I will swap it out? But the fp works just fine so IDK...
 
I have a miroku 95 carbine that came factory drilled and tapped for the Williams sight and eventually I ll put one on it when it s harder to see iron sights.Putting the Pattern 21 on my carbine would require the saddle ring be removed etc and I d like to keep it the way it is.I mainly bought the sight as a backup for aging eyes down the road and I figured might as well pick one up now before any possible stupid new gun law in the future makes it impossible to get one.

My eyes are fine but I definitely like the peep more than the factory rear sight. I don't think there would be any difference in performance between the Williams and the pattern 21, but the 21 definitely looks sleeker and more appropriate IMO.

Ya, the fact that the 1895 was already drilled and tapped for the Williams also factored in. No saddle ring in the way on mine though for the 21.
