Been thinking about getting a pc 9 or 40. Just for plinking, got lots of ammo for either one, think they look kinda cool. I see ruger isnt making them anymore. I like to here for some PC owners what thier thoughts are, what they use them for.

Thanx,

Great little gun. My outfit uses C-8 CBQ's and a few left over Mini-14's. Peel has a number of pc40 carbines. They are great fun little shooters. No recoil accurate at 50 yards use ruger pistol mags and hardly ever jam. I'd get one for plinking but I already have a mini-14, 10/22, .44 deerfield carbine, and M-1 carbine for that.

Got a PC9 love the little thing use it for plinking and in matches somedays instead of my AR if its aCQ setup My only problem is that since mag release is on left side instead of right side and slide release is somewhat small I really have to pay attention to my mag changes. I have never had FTF orFTE problems but the trigger pull on mine is long real long other shooters have actually worked the slide thinking it should have fired on their trigger pull only to eject a live round because they did not pull the trigger far enough. I am used to it but it can be somewhat unnerving to some people. By no means are these complaints against a great little carbine, just letting you know what mine is about. Dont forget 10 round ruger pistol mags fit and feed perfectly (capacity is legal on mags not the firearm that they may or may not fit into)

I know, I bought it!

:D
For reference, haven't got it yet but have researched all pro and con threads that I could find. Seems to be a natural companion to my P89 and will make a fun combo to get good with.
Why are guns so addictive!, I'm going broke!!! - Oh well;)

I'm trying to convince my wife that she needs a Cx4 in .40!
I thought it would make a great valentines gift.

The prices seem to keep coming down every day.

Plus

The Cx4 in 9 and 40 will take the 10 rnd Beretta mags.

It's too bad that both the Beretta and the Ruger are restricted!

But you can buy a longer barrel for the Cx4 and re-register it as non-restricted.
