I have had a CX4 Storm, JR Carbine and CZ Scorpion EVO. I have had no ammo issues with any of them from brass cased factory to my light-ish hand loads. I have used 115gr, 124gr and 147gr. Don't over think it, if it will run in a pistol it will likely run in your carbine. Keep in mind that aluminum cased ammo, such as Blazer, is not recommended for use in blow-back carbines by some manufacturers.
Any hollowpoint ammo would be suitable for coyotes, keep in mind it will probably be a $1 per round or more for factory ammo. Unless you try some of that IMI 9mm HP from Canada Ammo.
Have fun.
