I just noticed that USPSA has introduced a new division this year called PCC - Pistol Calibre Carbine! It is basically IPSC stages which are shot with a carbine (9mm from what I seen). It looks like a blast! Several videos on you tube. Here's hoping that this will come to IPSC. Has anybody heard of this in Canada?

Well uspsa the pcc shooters shoot same stages as pistols. But they have started to put a further distance stage on for pcc. Like yesterday we had a stage where t targets were 150ft (50yds) away. I surprisingly had 2 alphas and 3 Charlies with a Glock 26. Those with pcc were laughing at that stage.

Interesting. IDPA is also proposing a PCC division. I am not entirely convinced that it fits well into the philosophy, rules and stage designs, but there's no denying that pistol caliber carbines are a lot of fun.

Has anybody heard of this in Canada?

A handgun match, with a PCC division?
Yup. It's been done in Ontario.

Not in a sanctioned match, mind you.
But in an unsanctioned IPSC-ish match, it has been done.
