PCC in 10mm where are they?

I'd buy one in a heart beat for 10mm's I am now down to just my 4.25" barreled Glock 29, 5" barreled Colt Delta Elite and my 18" T/C Contender carbine barrel.

I'd use it on coyotes = I get 2050fps with my 135gr Nosler HP/IMR800X loads in the 18" barrel.

Hmm think I'll put the 10mm barrel back onto a carbine frame and try it on coyotes have a 2.5x Leupold on it now with a 50 yard zero orange dot was point of aim this is the drop at 100 yards

I wish we could get the 10mm Hi Point carbine.... :(

I would suspect that we can, just nobody has bothered to bring them in? Its in the FRT according to Armalytics.

Yes; the Model 19307:

https://ruger.com/products/lcCarbine/models.html

That would be the ultimate wilderness bear defence carbine. I am hoping that someone can bring it on to the Canadian market with a NR length barrel. Ruger did it for the PC carbine, so here is hoping they would do it for the LC series.

Wouldn't a handy 308win be a better bear defense carbine? Yeah, 10mm is a great option if you're limited to things that are shootable in a semi-auto handgun, but you don't have that limitation when talking carbine... And considering its semi auto you've still got to deal with an 18.5" barrel, regardless of what cartridge you're using...

It would be better and I have one mine is a 12.5" barreled Rem 700 PCR short rifle in 308 Win takes 5 and 10 round mags I load it with 125gr to 200gr but I also shoot 10mm and I have wanted a semi-auto or lever action in 10mm since 1988

Reloading 10mm makes it a no brainer over a .308 for me, I already have sm pistol primer 10mm brass. Less powder, cheaper/easier to find primers and powder. Longshot is cheap as well as other more vanilla pistol powders.

I like those 135 and 155gr
Stabilize well.
My little 10mm T.Defence with hodgdon longshot will print nice groups past 100Y
The 1 gen thoreen defence same thicker reciver then the 2gen

Waiting for a little bager style like the contender buddy has. Sweet tiny package. But loaded with 220gr would be formidable

I also load 200gr WFNGC’s with IMR800x they were my bear defense rounds when I had my ATC and carried a Colt Delta Elite and Glock 20

I do not remember velocities in my 5” 6” 18” barrels will have to look it up

Here it is 9.6gr 800x 200gr bullets are 1300fps in the 6” barrel and 1510fps in the 18” barrel

18" with 200gr xtp over 1750-1800.
only new brass. That sloppy chamber bugles the 1Ă—f brass. All my 10mm is new brass. The 1 down side of unsupported chambers.. IE the glock bulge

Is 10MM, about as 'powerful' in a Pistol Carbine you can get? I would love something light, & not another 9mm pcc. Hey, I'm no ballistics expert, but, can a .40 S&W with hot loads be close?
Is 5.7 a good option? Is 10MM better, in comparison, to, if they made a 44 Magnum, or .357 Magnum PCC? - which is more powerful-? Why haven't they? The Desert Eagle is mag fed..so, where is the .44 & .357 PCC's at?! :p

Buy a barrel with a supported chamber if you can and never look back, glock factory barrel isn’t the best if you want to reload or shoot cast.

I bought a KKM barrel for my Glock, big improvement in brass wear and tear. No more glock bulge in my 10mm brass, looks no different after multiple reloads.
Dont get me wrong. The chamber in my ppc is reliable. Which is the purpose for my semi to function and feed. Just not brass friendly.
The good and the bad i guess.

Cant wait to see the new ruger Lc.
Giver a try also

Thing with ballistics is that there's no such thing as a free lunch. 10mm is the best option power wise for autoloading carbines, but they're not particularly light as most are direct blowback. That heavy bolt is going to impart about as much recoil or more than a 5.56. .357 and .44 don't work great in boxed mags due to rimlock. 5.7 seems promising as long as the loads are kept hot, with high velocities. Even then, you're still looking at 9mm to 9mm +P energies. Where it really shines is the recoil/accuracy/trajectory departments.
