Thinking of expanding my collection, are the Winchester and Marlins rarer than hens teeth and I know it depends on what the seller wants and what the buyer pays but ballpark $ ??????

You usually see them at gun shows around these parts. They are typically priced around $800-$1000. It is rumored that there was someone out there with a C-broad arrow stamp creating these rifles, so I have never went for any. Any 30-30 lever from the 40's has a high collector value on its own, in my opinion.

Local friend of mine has a PCMR Winchester for sale..He's a PCMR enthusiast and the rifle is genuine..PM me if interested and I'll forward his details....I believe its within the figures bgcameron stated..

There were a specific number of Winchesters build for the Canadian military and the serial numbers are known. Shouldn`t be a problem sorting out the fakes.

I know that there is a serial number range that they fall into, but is there a source somewhere that says which rifles were PCMR?

Anyone have one of the GVRD Winchester model 94 1.2million guns? City of Vancouver sold them off in the 1990s.
