Pcp Benjamin marauder Or hatsan bt 65 bs which one to buy ??

My vote is for the Marauder, I think the Hatsan is bigger and heavier and I believe the Benjamin is better quality from what I have read else where. Also The Marauder is supposed to be real good in .25 which apparently is supposed to be the most accurate caliber in an air rifle ( I read that some where too) :)

I have never owned a Hatsan airgun, but many Crosman/Benjamin products. Crosman offers good parts support for their guns, easily available, reasonably priced. Not sure how good Hatsan parts support is.

Hatsan makes some nice guns. The extra pound of the BT65 over the Marauder gets you double the shot count. It also has a field changeable air cylinder (if you buy another). And the cylinder houses the valve, so you can have one tuned for max power (PAL) and another tuned for max shot count (non-PAL) or field target, etc.

That being said, the m-rod is getting a lot of attention from the tuners and customizers right now, and the velocity is adjustable out of the box. Upgrade and spare parts will be easier to get. Also, I'm not sure if the BT65 is current production any more.

I would get the Marauder. I would also get a couple extra mags.

The mags are probably another factor to look at. There have been a lot of issues with the M-rod mags. I used to own 3 of them for a BNM kit on a 2240, never had any issues, but I've read about a lot of headaches. The Hatsan mags on the other hand are foolproof. Very easy to load, and they don't have any moving parts.

I own a Hammerli Pneuma, which is the same as an AT-44, and it's a hell of a nice rifle. After some tuning, the thing is shockingly accurate. I've shot a Benjamin Marauder too, and although it wasn't as impressive in .22, like others have said, the .25 Marauder has a very good reputation. The BT-65 has a better barrel, but that doesn't always equate to better accuracy.

For a BT-65, I would direct you to the Airgun Forum Store:

The owner is a great guy who can help you with any parts and order in anything you need. Whenever I needed parts, he had them on hand.

Feel free to ask any questions about my rifle, I'm happy to help.
