Hello all!!

Spring is in the air, and now its time to earnestly test all those builds we have been working on over the winter.

PDW's carbean's (as some people say :D ) have tweaked my interest as of late. I have done some reseach and there are some good looking builds hear on the board, but many of the threads are less than current

With this in mind, I was wondering if those that have them, might share them with us. I was thinking that build specs, along with target and balistic results would make for an interesting and infromative thread.

We are all busy people, so feel free to start with build specs, but make sure you come back to share target and ballistic results with us as time permits.

Thank you all for taking the time to read my thread, and I look forward to any and all constructive contributions.

Regards and all the best

Not sure if this fits the PDW criteria. I've only had it out for function testing, so no targets to post yet, but it works 100%.

Snap!
Clob...Nice piece...simple...light....functional without a lot of extraneous s**t.
I think that you just hit one out of the park..
This is pretty much exactly what I have come to realize is the Holy Grails of PDW.
I have exactly the same set up, except for a cobbled on light.
Bravo!...(fade out to the sound of a single pair of hands clapping....)

Clob :

Edit to add:

My understanding of PDW are short barreled carbines (regardless of platform or Caliber), that small enough for concealment, yet much more potent than a handgun. If one feels that a pistol caliber sub gun/Carbine should be their PDW, well then have at it, but be prepared to show/substantiate your stance and results.

With that in mind..............

I really like what I see, so keep at it my friend.

Just make sure to leave some room for results!! ;)

regards and all the best

^^ Beautiful! Wow there are a lot of nice high dollar kits in this thread! Paulinski, I'm just wondering what your rifle weighs?

Though I like the clean look of folding sights, I don't think they have any place on a PDW. I think that at the ranges one would typically use a PDW, speed should dictate the sight set up. If you're optic goes down you would want to immediately transition to your back up sights, pausing to flip them up may take more time than you have.

Of course this is all metal masturbation because most of us only have to worry about paper targets.

Bad PDW

Here's mine along with the specs. I have since switched back to a Trijicon 42mm Reflex and added some Tango Down rail panels. The DPMS bolt and Enidine buffer are new, so I'm looking forward to trying both out (time and weather permitting).

Dlask 7.0" Upper with low profile gas block, free-floating quad rail and PWS CQB flash hider
Tango Down rail covers, LaRue index clips, Gear Sector QD sling mount and hand stop
Noveske Troy M4 folding BUIS (front tritium upgrade), Aimpoint Micro T1 on Matech mount
DPMS TiNi bolt carrier, bolt and firing pin; PRI Gasbuster charging handle

SOCOM Lower with elongated trigger guard, CAA modular grip w/storage, BAD A.S.S. safety
Stag LPK, KNS anti-rotation pins, KAC 2-stage trigger, Magpul BAD lever, PWS extension tube
Enidine hydraulic buffer, CTR mil-spec stock w/enhanced butt pad and LaRue cheek RISR
