From a ballistic standpoint, it makes more sense to SBR a 7.62x39 than it does 5.56. You lose much less velocity with the 7.62 x 39. This one gets an average of 2120 fps out of a 12 inch barrel, and the ammo is dirt cheap...Take that .300 whisper!

Yeah it did, the above pics are older.

I have the original bolt carrier on there now. I contacted the company, they wanted me to send it back for a replacement, but I never bothered. I don't want a replacement and wouldn't be comfortable selling it. It's not constructed properly in my opinion. I'm lucky the charging handle hit me in the thumb and not in the teeth.

Actually it's mostly milled.. the VZ is a beast of a weapon, that I'd reach for over all else in my inventory if needed in a working role. However, the shorter you go does not mean the better it is. As a PDW.. the short VZ's are out of their game.
