PDW builds - Lets see them, and share results

The shortest SBR/PDW I have... but the 7.5 build is gathering parts...

CSA vz58 in 223 with Dlask AKM style muzzle brake, NEA AR stock adapter and an ACE short fixed stock. Oh, and the plastic mags coated in plasti-dip for gription.

700 rounds in and not a single failure

Shooter1of38, is that your gun room?? That's pretty bad-ass!

Just out of curiosity, for storage "regulations" is the room itself considered a safe? And do you need trigger locks for the restricteds? Wouldn't mind making a gun wall like that for myself

nice set up shooter1of38 did I see a two tone m&p 45 in the background there? I thought I had the only one ;)

I was going to buy the parts to put together a spikes myself before I went with my NEA, just passing 1200rnds now, maybe 10 minutes of maintenance has gone into this gun.

Very nice Shooter! I'm still envious of your gun room! ;) What kind of rail did you put on the Spikes? I really like that it's a bit longer to partially enclose the CQB compensator.

It is the Spike's BAR rail. It came installed on it from Questar.

Very nice. I'm still torn on which I like better: the PWS CQB or Hera-Arms Linear Compensator (pretty sure the Hera is a lot heavier, but it looks cooler). ;)

Don't leave out the flaming pig! Think I'll BBQ tonight.........

I had my CQB powder coated as the original finish really discolored (as seen in pictures). Now it remains a nice, deep matte black, regardless of barrel heat.

I don't get the 'flaming pig'. Other than the fireworks show and noise redirection, you're not getting any flash hiding or compensating...

But....it is high on the obnoxious scale! And what a cute little piggy on the side.

This little piggy went to market

This little piggy went home

This little piggy had roast beef and gravy

This little piggy had none

And This little piggy was on the end of a 7.5 inch AR and pissed off everyone at the indoor range......:)

The point of the "Piggy" is so that everyone else next to you at the range is not pissed at you. The KX3 really pushes the sound forward so it doesn't beat up everyone else around you.

.

Hey guys, any cycling issues with those short barrels? I've heard mixed results.

When I called LMT they told me to use hotter ammo with their 10.5's to ensure reliable cycling.

Haha, indeed it does.

No, I do realize that. My point that with the PSW CQB you get some flash suppression, and both the PWS CQB and Linear Comp give you some compensation as well - in addition to redirecting the sound forward.

If you really want to be obnoxious... run an A2 flash hider. ;)

None - these aren't NEA's. I've only ever run PMC 55-grain in mine and it's always run like clockwork...
