Before you give me too much respect, listen to this: for a PDW, I would take the CSA over the HK. In my mind, its slimmer profile and 7.62 ammo make it a winner between the two. As a CQB rifle, the HK wins hands down between these two, but as a PDW, well, there is a reason HK invented the MP7 right ?
 
I could actually understand that. Especially looking at the size of magwells. A Vz without a mag inserted is super slim.

Is the barrel threading still 14X1 on the 7.5 CSA models? I keep eyeing them, but I'd like to be able to use the parts from the Cz858
 
I am actually sure on the barrel threading - I will have a look later.

One of the other big considerations is the width of the gun with the stock folded. The HK feels a bit more a briefcase whereas the CSA is just a niggle wider.

For a CSA PDW, I would lean towards 20rd mags though - the 30rders are a bit unwieldy (advantage HK there)

That is sweet. For a PDW I would probably go with a different optic but that is an epic rig none-the-less. Any idea on an approximate weight w/o optics ?
 
Had my 7" 300 Blk AR out shooting some practical drills with the boys last night. So much fun and so much less noise than the short barreled 556 stuff. The only thing is I need so find some cheaper projectiles as chucking hundreds of 200gr Lapua subsonics downrange each time is gonna get expensive.

Working as a team, a short barreled 556 with a brake is a seriously obnoxious thing. It is nasty when wearing hearing protection. I can't imagine what it must be like in a real situation when you aren't wearing earplugs.

The BLK is so much more user friendly for that kind of work yet it is incredibly lethal at short ranges and shines in a short barrel while the 556 is seriously losing steam in a short barrel.
