PDW builds - Lets see them, and share results

Others have posted their 10.5" barrels in this thread so I guess I can too.
The original plan for this rifle was an 8.5" Noveske "Navy" barrel but I found too good a deal on a Noveske 10.5"CHF barrel to pass up.

This was my first AR15 build, I have a DD MK 18 that was my first rifle purchase but I bought it as a complete rifle and just added accessories.
I just completed the build about 2 weeks ago when I received the upper/lower and rail, and today was the first day since I signed up at my range that we were able to shoot .223/5.56

Here is a list of the parts and a picture before I started assembling it

Noveske 7.5" barrel
Wilson Combat billet upper/lower set
Spikes Tactical 7" Bar2 rail
Geissele S3G trigger
Troy PDW stock kit
Troy vertical grip
Aimpoint T2
Fortis Aimpoint mount
Raptor charging handle
BCM Mod 3 grip
Ferfrans CRD
Norgon ambi mag release
BAD titanium pins
BAD safety selector

And here is the finished product

This is the best clip I got with my camera phone, its not me but a range officer at the range. Trigger is amazing so rapid fire is super fun with this thing, and we sure drew everyones attention at the range with the blasts

I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, and its performance. I ran about 400 rounds though it today and it ran great on 5.56, when shooting .223 I got 3-4 2 rounds bursts and 2 3 rounds bursts. After that happened I switched to only 5.56 and had no problems. I think the built in buffer weight on the Troy BCG works better with the 5.56 and may be too heavy for the .223

Did you dump a bag of chips over that nice looking firearm?

Oh no your going to make me actually know how much I spent on this thing LOL

All in all with tax, shipping, and exchange rate for the US parts Id say just under $5000 Canadian

Great to see its used. Mine looked very similar after a training class in thr rain and mud. Was curious to see if any of the rifles in the my session would stop due to the weather and not one did. I was very gratified to see something I put together ran flawlessly for 1000 rounds. Well after that long winded ness , nice gun!

They are so much fun! I have my Glock 17 nestled inside one. I actually don't shoot it too often anymore. I get too many people wanting to know what it is. I spend more time talking then shooting.

I'm actually really tempted to try one of these little guys. There's a lot of different stock options now, and I'm having trouble deciding.

I really wanted to try a pistol caliber SBR, looked into the chassis for one of my Glocks but it seemed like everywhere in Canada was sold out of the ones that would work with any of my Glocks.

So I went out and bought a KRISS Vector instead, uses same mags as my Glock 21 and I love .45 ACP, and I absolutely love it! Its amazing how easy it is to shoot compared to a .45 pistol, I usually bring a friend that is a non lic shooter with me every time I go to my range. Usually they have little to no experience at all shooting real guns, and they always suck with pistols right off the bat. Im talking like we dont even know where the bullets went at 10 yards LOL... The Vector on the other hand with the red dot on it, they are shooting bulls eye's a small accurate groups right away...Take the stock off and shoot it pistol style, and they are right back to terrible shooting..LOL Its amazing how much just a simple plastic stock affects accuracy

I have a bunch of accessories for it on order, M4 stock adapter, flashlight kit, and side rails. And I already got a Magpul UBR stock for it

Still keeping my eye out for a Glock carbine chassis, Id still really like to try one on either my 17 or 21
