PDW builds - Lets see them, and share results

A few more... some of which are "discriminatory" in nature as they can only be owned by citizens of a certain age.... A real shame, to say the least!

The C1 SMG, Uzi and HK MP5 are all essentially useless, as the ### will not issue me a Special Authority to Possess permit to legally transport them to the range for their only legitimate purpose. The Steyr TP-9 is fine to take to the range on an ATT. Go figure.....more non-common sense from your previous 3 governments and counting....

when the zombies come you'll have an mp5 to take care of business, im sure the ### wont give a shiat.

Oh man that Stirling!! :d

Actually, it is a bona-fide 12(3) Converted-Auto Canadian Arsenals Limited (C.A.L.) "C1 SMG". Standard Canadian Army issue prior to 1988, one of just 3 registered CA guns known to be in (legal) private hands in Canada. The British "Sterling" SMGs were manufactured by the UK company of the same name. The easiest way to tell the two similar designs apart from a distance is at the muzzle. The British Sterling has a "stepped" muzzle for attachment of the bayonet, whereas the Canadian C1 SMG has a bayonet boss welded onto the lower Left side of the receiver. FYI, FWIW...

P.S. The C1 SMG was the de-facto PDW of the CF prior to is replacement by the C7 rifle starting in 1988. The 4 Svc Bn Kit Shop in Germany used to sell a rigger-made thigh holster for the SMG long before such gear otherwise existed or was considered "tacti-cool" (see: HK MP7 holster). They apparently sold a bunch, but I never saw anyone in the infantry use one!

P.P.S. The ancient red-dot has been on my C1 SMG since 1996 (give or take). The rail (Weaver) is mounted via the ventilation holes running down the top centre of the forward receiver and is non-permanent. Wouldn't want to butcher a classic just to (true story) win a bowling pin pairs match....

PDWs, you say? Ok, I'll play :). There'd also be an XCR-M Micro and an 11" Vz in the photo, but IMHO anything with a barrel over 9" isn't a PDW!

Boo! I have a 10.3in and I want to play! Lol!

I finally found a home for my 10.3in Stag Arms N8 upper so now it has it's own lower instead being passed around like a cheap whore between my other rifles:

Next to its longer brother:

I do have a question about these shorties though, are massive fireballs and flames coming out of the ejection port normal? I know I'm running a brake, and fireballs are to be somewhat expected, but the flames are creeping up the handguard (just feel a bit warm, no pain from the heat) and if you watch the video, flames are coming out of the ejection port. Its kinda cool, but just want to know if its dangerous in anyway, am I going to blow up my gun?

Yeah, saw that in the video. Honestly never noticed whether any other AR15 or C7 I've used does that. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I can chime in!

Me neither, haha! Even running the fun switch, don't remember flames out of the ejection port. Thought maybe it was a side affect of the short barrel.
