I recently received my classic green and thus far have only been shooting 55 gr. American Eagle ammo out of it. I'm going to be handloading for it in the near future and need to know, from those that own them, what is the heaviest weight bullet the 20" 1-10" barrel will stabilize properly with accuracy as the goal. Right now my preference would be to use both the 60 gr. Vmax for little furry creatures and the 69 gr. Sierra for 300m plus target shooting. Thanks for any info., I'd use the search function but it's not that usefull.
 
I find that the highest entertainment factor in the gopher vaporization department is with the 40gr v-max which my black special target 1 holes at 100. I had trouble getting 69 grain bullets to shoot well, however have had good results with 62gr hpbt match bullets.
 
60 gr vmax for coyotes
although 45gr white box worked as well
by loading the vmax i was trying to come as close to the RUAG gp90(?) load and it seems to work well
 
pdb, funny, people have mentioned that before but i HAVE never had an issue with it
and it shoots really well out of the BS, plus it's cheap enough that if i lose a piece of brass i don't fret about it....
