Pe/pem scopes and mounts search

I've been looking at the accumount PE/PEM scope and mounts for a mosin build.
They won't ship from the usa because of ridiculous rules / policy. I could order their mounts - at a premium, from another country. But I hate paying more simply because I'm Canadian.

Anyone have any idea where to get these?

There was a PE scope on the EE. It may still be for sale at $300. Not a bad price for a Ukrainian scope if it's in new condition. I've read from a couple of American shooters that the Ukrainian produced scopes are better made than the Chinese Accumount scopes. That's just what I've read. Many people on Youtube are pleased with Accumount.

I have a Ukrainian built unit myself and I'm very happy with it's quality. I bought the lens caps and scope covers off eBay. The reticle on my unit moves whereas the Accumount ones don't.
 
Ok found the top mount on ebay...

The sidemount is over 300 usd alone. Expensive.

Then, factoring in a gun smith cost, after finding one willing to tap a mosin...

Can't find a PEM

It seems to be a little more costly than I thought though.
Seems for the cost of the mounts, scope and paying someone to mount it - I could just buy another westrifle PU rifle, scope AND rifle included ;)

I'm still seriously looking into the PE though.
 
There is a Ukranian company that wakes them....PE/PEM/POS/PU etc. They are the ones that make all the PU sniper scopes for the M-N wanna be snipers.
I don't know of an importer but the mount is $75 and the scope $220....steep but authentic. They also make SVT SKS SVD AK mounts and scopes.
I've seen a POS for a SVT mounted on a MINUTE. Looks good!
I believe the Ukranian company is who made these scopes in the first place. If so they are made with the equipment formerly owned by ZEIS which was taken from Germany as war retribution.
 
There is no current availability of Ukranian PE scopes that I know of,they do show up on ebay from time to time.The Accumounts replica is $199 and if you plan on shooting a bit it is good enough.A vintage set will cost you in excess of 1K or more...
 
I plan on shooting my rifle a lot. My current PU see's range time twice a week when scheduling permitted. I'd like to get another scoped mosin to supplement her use ;)
I require a quality scope more than authentic really.
