Pre-Registration now open for July 12 match!
(Spaces are limited, PM me to register.)
Update May 27:Thanks to 1 ozzy and JohnnyMac we can increase the number of shooters to 45.
A bit more info for the July match:
Registration at 9am. Safety briefing at 9:30.
Shoot starts at 10am sharp.
Match Fee $40, includes hot lunch.
Shooters should bring at least 100 rounds of rifle, 100 rounds of pistol and 75 rounds of birdshot to cover all situations. Courses of fire are not set but round count should be approximately 120-130. Time permitting we will run a steel match after the main event is over and this will require extra ammo. Shooters will be classified into divisions based on the configuration of their firearms.
We're pleased to have two 3 gun matches at the Peace Country Fish and Game Association range this year. A regular match on July 12 and our second annual two-man team match on October 4 and 5.
We've got a few changes for this year as well.
1) Staggered start times have been shelved. One start time for all squads.
2) Pre-registration will be required.
3) We will have divisions this year. See info below.
As we get closer to the event dates, I'll post more info. For now, here's some general info.
Shooters require:
- Eye and ear protection. (eye and ear protection must also be worn by spectators)
- Semi-automatic pistol of 9x19mm or larger, at least three magazines and holster. The holster must be able to retain the pistol during moderate physical activity and cover the trigger guard. No cross-draw, shoulder, or small-of-back holsters are permitted.

- Mag pouches, vests, chest rigs, or shoulder bags, etc, to carry spare magazines and shotshells. Be prepared to carry a minimum of 30 pistol, 25 shotshells, and/or 30-40 rounds of rifle ammo, depending on which gun(s) are in use.
