Hi was wondering if anyone on here has or have used a pecar scope.I know they are a old school german scope .The original owner as long since passed on and the company no longer exists .One of the site sponsors here as a few of these listed for sale and was wondering if it would be something that might be of interest as a modern day scope .What do you guys think.

I have a PECAR scope on an Enfield Enforcer clone. As far as I am aware they are the usual good quality one would expect from German optics.

I had an 8x56 with 26mm tube. Mounted on a HB Parker Hale 243. It was my full moon rifle for wolves German #4 crosshair. Great light gathering scope. It sat outside on my bench from Dec. - March. 1978 - 1988 covered with a tarp during the day or when not in use.. Sighted in on my gut pile at 350 yrds. on my lake. Took a lot of wolves over the years and it never failed never fogged up. It is on my sons Rem. 700 Classic 7x57. Still working as it was back in the 70's.

wow doesn,t get much better than that ,i was looking at the 4x10x 45,this is one of the later scopes with the dot inside a circle as this indicates the image moves during sight in as opposed to the older model which as just the dot wher the reticle moves during site in.
The 4x10 was used on the enfield enforcer correct me if im wrong but i think they were marked 4x10 Pecar ,later scopes were marked 4x10x45
