Pecar scopes???

Anybody have any thoughts/experience with Pecar scopes?Iin a couple hours of searching all i got was they're German and they closed up shop when it came time to resign the lease on the building.

I think they were typically German well-made. They were used on the Enfield Envoy police sniper rifles.

There's a 6x on a rifle I'm thinking about and was wondering about the $$.

I certainly wouldn't think a Pecar 6x would detract from the value of that rifle. If you buy it and find you would rather put a different scope on it, I might be interested in the Pecar.

I just did a little research on them today as I'm looking for a scope with a 26.3mm tube.
No expert but I'd think that they are worth a-bit. Guessing 300-500 depending on condition.
I'd give a fair price if you don't want it; 'cause I do
If it's got a 26.3mm tube then you'll need new rings or have to put bushings in yours though.
That may be an added cost or inconvienance you ought to be aware of.
