Pedersoli Baker Rifle

I imagine that they will be immensely popular if done well and if so acquiring one might be a problem as people will be standing in line for them and one has to remember Canada is a small gun market compared to other countries especially when it comes to muzzleloaders.

I just read on the British Militaria forum that Pedersoli says they will be available in 2025.I also just read that Jim Kibler is thinking on producing a Brown Bess kit and is asking for feed back on which model to produce

If Kibler does a Brown Bess kit, it will be the standard for comparison. His products are exceptional.
Best version to reproduce from the marketing standpoint? Probably the 42" Short Land Pattern, with the 46" Long Land pattern second.

Hmmm, BB is large bore artillery. How many grains of black is a standard load? Don't get me wrong, I'd buy and shoot one, but doubt I could afford to feed it's powder consumption.

At .75 caliber, a Bess is about 11ga. Uses about as much powder as a 12ga shotgun.
Loads could vary, but 80gr would do the trick.

Looking at the current price increases at Marstar for Pedersoli guns I can see their Baker rifle going for somewhere s between $3000 -$3500.A tidy sum when you figure in tax and shipping,I guess I ll have to sell somethingšŸ˜†
