Just got word my Pedersoli Baker rifle will be arriving at my dealer shortly and will be shipped out as soon as possible.I am really looking forward to this gun

Check the cleaning rod/rammer. Confirmed factory issues with it fitting correctly after it’s been removed.

I have read the reports on the ramrod issues but my ramrod fits and works perfectly

That’s good! I’ve seen 3 so far with that issue.

The rod retaining spring looks like it was an afterthought! If yours is currently OK don't slam the rammer in too hard. If yours suddenly won't accept the rod don't try to pound it in. Take the triggerguard off and attempt to reshape the spring. It's made of very thin and not overly strong steel.

Pedersoli are actually supplying a free repair kit for anyone who has the ramrod problem. As for the spring…be careful, I know one person who broke theirs as it’s so thin.

The only problem I had with mine was that the rear swivel was missing as you can see in the first pic but Pedersoli did send me one as you can see in this pic
