Pedersoli Kodiak MKIV Double Rifle in 45-70

Using vibration, and compression I was able to get 90 grains of Swiss 1.5 fg with a .032 wad with a bore sized 540 grain paper patch bullet in a 45-70 case. Loads like a torpedo. haha

You wouldn't want to view a picture of my 'vibratory aid for reloading' while drinking coffee. Be all over the screen.
Works deadly though, some black tape and a really small 'Appliance for ladies' taped on to my powder dispenser... almost don't need the powder trickler to fine tune the charges.
Makes sense though, the same reason that you don't get a full of chips. Settling from the vibrations in traveling.
Want get more powder in a given space?
Compression or vibration.
If it looks stupid but works...

very nice Double and very respectable accuracy.

I have a Baikal MP-221 SxS 45-70, been playing with loads for it the last several years, the rifle is not as refined as yours, has thin barrels and an adjustable barrel regulator that works somewhat ok but leaves a lot to be desired.
I found 300 gr campro or Hornadys worked the best, I use 2400 pistol powder and Reloader-7, I can get 4 inch groups at 50 yards but one barrel has a different powder charge than they other to get vertical impacts (Left 1550fps Right 1660fps). going to try 300/340 and 405 cast bullets next, no time too many projects lol.

My Baikal regulates extremely well with 405gr corlocks at 1300fps. About 1.25" group at 50 yards 2 shots from each barrel. I've upped my loads to 1600fps so I have some vertical dispersion but I've regulated it to 30 yards
