Does anyone have any floor or pedestal mounts of their trophies ? I am thinking of having an elk head done up and wanted to hear your opinions as to why you had the pedestal mount done and how you like it (pictures would be great too).

sheephunter, that is a very neat mount. I have seen alot of full mount cougars posed in stalk or leap poses but those poses require some pretty specific house design to really bring out the effect. The one you have is simple but imposing, while being easy to place almost anywhere. Is it yours ?
I've seen some of deer, I quite liked them, because I'm a pack rat who lives in a tiny place, I'd suggest getting an actual cabinet for a pedistal, no point in wasting all that space that could keep your hunting vids or your hunting photo albums etc.
