Peep sight help

A lot of people don't get that aiming point is the top of the bead with a peep sight. Could be what is putting you high if you are centering the bead on the target?

I have a unit from the 70's that clamped onto the rim of the glasses and forced you to look through an aperture...don't know if that would be a bonus for hunting LoL.
There must be some merit to it though.
But both eye's open is how I shoot irons. But I am not gonna brag about shooting...it's silly.

Unfortunately I always use the top of the bead. I think it’s my glasses but have yet to get out and test the theory.

The aiming point/point of impact is user adjustable..... many like yourself will sight it in so that the point of impact is just above the top of the post for target shooting and many prefer a square post of that type of shooting.

I like beads and set my peeps up so that I place the bead right where I want the shot and not below. It's a personal choice and easy to adjust height and change front sights.
