Peep sight options for Henry 45-70

I just picked up a Henry H010G 45-70. It's nice, but I'm not sure I like the semi-buckhorn sights much. Anybody install a peep on one? I'm curious to hear some thoughts or see some pics. It looks like Skinner Sights or Ranger Point Precision are the main options.

Ah, looks like that one requires the rail. I'd rather keep this one a little more traditional looking I think

I learned to use the factory buckhorn... and inside 75m or so I am hitting inside 3 inches. Perhaps a little practice before commiting to a peep sight?

I do use NECG peep sights on my CZ 550/557's, but not sure they make them for Henry without a pic rail. Top drawer stuff.

I’ll try it before changing anything. Just not crazy about the sight picture.
