I have aa Anschutz 64 with original peep sights, my tired 74 year old eyes can't do well with them anymore. Suggestions? The sights clamp onto the integral rail, front and back. Jim

Do your peep sights have a DIOPTER or are they just an IRIS????? If you only use an IRIS sight (opens and closes with a turn, same as your eye function) you're missing out on a lot of shooting. A DIOPTER is an adjustable lens, just like your reading glasses only these are adjustable so you can alter them. I gave up using my Walther KK decades ago because I couldn't focus on the front (most important) sight or target. Several guys in the ORA directed me into using a DIOPTER rear sight and the difference is unbelievable. 2 weeks ago I shot 5 rounds at 100 yards off my elbows, no bags, into 2". Last week at the range a 5 shot group (off bags this time) went under 1" with peep sights. 4 shots went into 1/2". Now to be honest that was very very lucky but it still shows how effective these sights can be.

My eyes have been tired since the day I wuzz born.
Well, my shewt'n eye anyways.
I've come to conclude that sights are for voyages to enjoy.
Most things 'round'ear wear glasses................me included.

Have you tried shoot'n with the other eye?
